The Opposite of Same-Old-Same-Old

 

Sorry I’ve been a bit MIA lately! It’s been a hectic few weeks with a lot of stress and the cold from hell. BUT when I stop to think about it some pretty cool stuff has happened too.

Sometimes life can feel a bit work-eat-sleep-repeat (even if you love your job, it can happen) but when I stop and think I’ve actually been doing a lot of things for the first time – and doing new things is the exact opposite of same-old-same-old.

Cirque Du Soleil: Totem (or, why I’m obsessed with acrobats)

As soon as I learned that Cirque Du Soleil’s ‘Totem’ was coming to Brisbane this year, it went straight onto my 2015 Bucket List (I really need to find a new name for this thing). My US and Canadian followers might wonder why this was such a big deal, but Cirque Du Soleil only comes to Australia once every 2-3 years – we can’t just go on a road trip to get our fix.
